Sunnybrook caller ID: survey results

In a recent survey we asked:

Are you happy with the call appearing as "unknown" or would you prefer to know the call is coming from Sunnybrook Hospital?

Phone survey results

  • 11.83% of respondants said:
    This is an important mechanism for patient privacy. The 'Unknown name / Unknown number' practice should continue.

  • 88.17% of resondants said:
    I get a lot of telemarketing calls that I don't answer. It would help me connect better with my health care team if I knew it was them calling.

As a result of this feedback, starting November 14, 2014, calls from Sunnybrook will no longer appear on Caller IDs as "Unknown."
