We are located located in M-wing, 5th floor at our 2075 Bayview Avenue Campus.

Multiple Pregnancy Clinic

A woman expecting more than one baby will require special care during her pregnancy to prevent or manage any issues that may arise. Sunnybrook is home to Canada's first specialized clinic for multiple births.

Perinatal Social Work Care

As part of your health-care team, we provide support, information and linkage to community resources to help patients and their families with a wide range of issues impacting their family and the transition to parenthood.

Prenatal classes

We offer a variety of classes for parents-to-be. Classes prepare you for pregnancy, birth and the newborn period. We recommend that you register early in your pregnancy to reserve your spot. Typically women will attend prenatal classes one to two months before your expected date of delivery.

Subsequent Pregnancy Program

We provide compassionate care and expertise for women who are experiencing a pregnancy after a death or loss of their baby late in a previous pregnancy or shortly after birth.

Women’s Mood and Anxiety Clinic: Reproductive Transitions

We focus on the assessment and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. We have expertise in the use of both psychotropic medication and psychotherapy during pregnancy and postpartum. Both outpatient and inpatient services are provided.

Labour & birth

Birthing Unit

Women with low-risk pregnancies and deliveries will be admitted to a family-friendly birthing suite. Here, they will be able to remain in their room with their new baby until they are ready to go home.

Obstetrical Anaesthesia

Many women meet the Obstetrical Anaesthesia team on the day of their delieveries. However, if you have questions about your specific care, your care provider will arrange a pre-labour consultation, allowing you to meet with an Anaesthesitist before the birth of your baby.
