The Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre offers specific expertise treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related "spectrum" disorders, including hoarding, hair pulling (trichotillomania), skin picking and body dysmorphic disorders for anyone over the age of 18. OCD WALK – June 4, 2017

OCD Walk, June 4th,2017 at 10:30am, Martin Goodman Trail

Please join us on Sunday, June 4th for the OCD WALK TORONTO! We are walking to raise awareness of the challenges associated with OCD. Registration will take place at 10:30am and the walk will start at 11:00am. Our walk will begin at Martin Goodman Trail (base of Windermere Ave.) proceeding east to Sunnyside Pavilion and to Palais Royale. The total one-way distance is less than 2 kilometers. Referrals Notice Update 12/19/16

Due to the response of the community, we are working towards accepting referrals for hoarding and body dysmorphic disorder without geographic restriction. Please continue to check our website for updates as acceptance of these referrals will depend on our ability to take on new patients. Please note that this will fluctuate based on the level of incoming referrals we receive.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the services offered at the Thompson Centre, you must meet the following three requirements:

If you do not fulfill all of the requirements above, you will not be able to access our services. However, if you are unable to access our services, we encourage you to visit our Patient Resources page which will provide helpful information on OCD and related “spectrum disorders” as well as provide options of community programs that are accessible across the GTA.

If you are searching for treatment for anyone under the age of 18, please visit the Psychiatric Youth Division at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Individuals with other primary anxiety disorders should be referred to the Mood and Anxiety Program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
