Palliative care
Our palliative care consult team (PCCT) is a group of dedicated health care professionals working together to provide pain and symptom management regardless of stage of disease. We aim to improve the quality of living and dying for patients and their families coping with challenging, advanced or life threatening illness.
We support patients and families in our palliative care clinic. The PCCT provides consultations for patients who have been admitted to our hospital. Our specialists have a unique set of skills and attempt to meet the diverse needs of patients referred to us by their oncologist.
