Organ and Tissue Donation

As part of quality end of life care and in accordance with the Trillium Gift of Life Network Act, patients and families may be approached and asked to consider organ and/or tissue donation. Each year thousands of Ontarians have a second chance to live life to its fullest, thanks to the generosity of organ and tissue donors, however the need for organs and tissue in Ontario continues to outweigh availability.
