The Women’s Health Golf Classic has a long history of raising support for women’s health initiatives at Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre. Over the past 20 years, the tournament has raised an incredible $4.45 million, helping to pave the way for new and transformative technologies, treatment options, and patient care programs that allow Sunnybrook researchers and clinical teams to provide personalized care for cancer patients.

We are pleased to announce that the tournament will be returning to Angus Glen Golf Club – on May 27, 2024.

Across many programs and projects, critical investment from our community has enabled Sunnybrook to quite literally chart new courses in women’s cancer care. This includes:

  • •   Building the Louise Temerty Breast Cancer Centre;
  • •   Providing next-day diagnosis for women in the centre’s rapid diagnostic;
  • •   Improving access to the Immediate Breast Reconstruction Program;
  • •   Building a first-of-its-kind imaging system to illuminate cancerous tissue and pathways during surgery;
  • •   Supporting research that makes it easier for surgeons to locate and remove tiny tumours deep within the breast; and
  • •   Funding advanced technology that allows for the comprehensive analysis of millions of cells at an unprecedented scale and speed.

Building on the legacy of the tournament, we are excited to expand our previous work in precision oncology across the Odette Cancer Program.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s tournament!
