Development and Commercialization

Development grants support pilot projects and feasibility studies, as well as new and innovative research with the potential for advancing scientific knowledge. Commercialization awards support research and development projects that have potential for technology transfer. Such awards advance the commercialization of discoveries or inventions, and attract further investment by supporting market research and business development activities.
