About the angiogenic signalling lab

Angiogenic signalling lab at Sunnybrook Research InstituteThe angiogenic signalling lab at Sunnybrook Research Institute, under the direction of Dr. Dan Dumont, aims to generate a better understanding of the signalling processes controlling angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis.

We study the development of vascular and lymphatic vessels in disease and regenerative medicine, including:

  • signal transduction research
  • generation of transgenic and knockout mice
  • proteomics
  • gene expression analyses using genomic technologies

Our research team is made up of members of the department of medical biophysics at the University of Toronto, including:

  • four graduate students
  • three postdoctoral fellows
  • two research assistants
