Neurointervention centre

In the neurointervention centre, a national centre of excellence, researchers and clinicians are partnering to develop new and better ways to treat brain disorders like stroke and dementia, and to help people recover after stroke. This tight clinical-research integration is one way we can achieve results faster—and get those results to patients.

Studies are investigating how to help stroke patients recover their balance and mobility, the effect of exercise on the brain and the therapeutic effect of transmagnetic stimulation in stroke.
