Antibody

The antibody core facility purifies by affinity chromatography antibodies specific for cell differentiation markers, signalling and tagging molecules of various species. We conjugate these antibodies to various fluorochromes (fluorescein, allophycocyanin, phycoerythrin, and up to 20 different Alexa Fluor dyes), to biotin, and to microbeads for cell surface multicolour immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, functional assays and biochemical analyses.

Following purification and conjugation of an antibody, the optimal titer for various applications is determined.

Aside from antibodies, the facility also produces other reagents needed for various molecular biology techniques. Please contact Philippe Poussier for more information.

A separate web site has been developed for this core facility. This web site allows users to access the list of reagents maintained in the facility and to place their orders. It also allows the facility technologist to keep track of all the orders originating from the various labs that support the facility. Access to the web site is limited to the scientists who use and support the facility. Please contact Philippe Poussier to request access to the site.
