Confocal microscopy training

Course details

Our hands-on Zeiss LSM510 system training is divided into the following components:

• Instrument overview
• LSM510 Scanning program software
• Preparing database
• Sample scanning
• Datafile renanalysis

At the end of the session, students will be able to practice on their experimental slides.

Training generally takes a couple of hours. However, an understanding of and experience in confocal microscopic techniques, in relation to biological and molecular function, requires specialized expertise. Additional assisted scanning sessions may be necessary

Requirements

Appropriate controls slides are mandatory.

Recommendations

It is recommended that you have a very good understanding of what you're trying to see.
