Lumbar tattoo study

Physicians' attitudes and practices surrounding use of regional anesthesia in parturients with lumbar spine tattoos during labour and delivery: an Ontario provincial survey

This physician survey examines beliefs, attitudes and practices of Ontario anesthesiologists and family practice and general practice (FP/GP) anesthetists toward the use of epidurals and spinals in women with tattoos. It is the first health services study to examine the impact of tattoos on women's access to maternity anesthesia services.
