Scientists at Children’s Health Research Institute (a program of Lawson Health Research Institute), Sunnybrook Research Institute and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) are working together to study the potential benefits of inhaled sedation as an alternative to keep critically ill children sedated and comfortable.

Research that summarizes two decades of clinical practice at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre shows that “dose-escalated” radiation therapy significantly improves tumour control and progression-free survival rates for patients with biologically-aggressive meningioma.

Congratulations to Dr. Sean Nestor, clinician investigator and interventional psychiatrist at Sunnybrook’s Harquail Centre for Neuromodulation, on receiving the 2022 Future Leaders in Canadian Brain Research grant from Brain Canada, a national convenor of those who support and advance brain research.
