In the first half of this lecture, Dr. Anne Martel will present an overview of the concept of image-guided therapy (IGT), the introduction of new imaging modalities, and current applications in various clinical domains including surgical procedures and therapeutic interventions.
The second part of the session will provide a high-level overview of the field of artificial intelligence beginning with an overview of terminology and historical context to shed light on the current state of the field.
