Nicholas A. Christakis, MD, PhD, MPH

is a social scientist and physician at Yale University, the director of Human Nature lab, and co-director, Yale Institute for Network Science. He is a former Time Magazine 100 Most Influential People in the World (2009) and Foreign Policy Magazine’s Top 100 Global Thinkers (2010).

Research: Network science, biosocial science, and behavior genetics. Dr. Christakis’s research explores how human biology and health affects and is affected by social interactions and social networks
