Help us plan the future of virtual care in Ontario

We want to hear about your experience, thoughts and perceptions about virtual care/mobile health applications.

Virtual care refers to ways of using technology such as telemedicine (e.g. communicating with your doctor through a portal, email, telephone, video), looking up your health information through a phone application or website, and sometimes having your heart rate or your weight being remotely monitored. Virtual care can also include things like “mobile health” where we use smart phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices to track your health record, use health-related applications, etc.

What you share with us will inform how we incorporate mobile health into regular clinical practice at Sunnybrook and University Health Network.

Time commitment:

Patients, caregivers and community members are invited to participate in one 15-20-minute interview over the phone.

There is also an opportunity to answer questions via an online questionnaire.

  • There are no right or wrong answers.
  • Your personal identity will remain confidential.
  • You are welcome to pass on any questions you would rather not answer.

For more information or to participate, please contact Laurie Legere, Manager of Engagement and Equity at Sunnybrook.
