What happens if my loved one is getting worse in the wards?

If the patient is getting worse, then the Rapid Response Team will be called to help manage the situation. The patient will be closely monitored and new interventions may be started. The goal is to improve the patient’s condition and avoid re-admission to the ICU. But, if necessary, the patient will be transferred back to the ICU.
