Welcome to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Each year, over 4,000 students from more than 30 different professions rely on Sunnybrook to provide an integral component of their education, and we are pleased to be a part of their learning experience. In fact, students come to Sunnybrook from all parts of the globe to study with our renowned faculty and our students become important members of our interprofessional patient-centred teams. I am deeply committed to health education and consider myself a champion for person-centred and relationship-centred, interprofessional education and care. I believe that technology is a key enabler of learning, and as a learner at Sunnybrook, you will experience this at its best.

This guide has important information for all students. Please read it in detail before starting your placement at Sunnybrook.

Once you are on-site, you will have access to all of the Sunnybrook’s policies and procedures. You are encouraged to read these in full as appropriate to your placement, profession and unit/department(s).
