Manager, Rehabilitation Services - Veteran’s Program - Regular Full-time  (222636)

We currently have a Regular Full-time opportunity for a Manager, Rehabilitation Services in the Veteran’s Program at our Bayview campus.

Hours of Work:

Weekdays: Days; 8 hrs; As per schedule

Summary of Duties

As part of the Veterans Centre leadership team, the Manager of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the overall management of the Veterans Program rehabilitation services staff, i.e. physiotherapy, occupational therapy, OTA/PTA, speech and language pathology, dietitians and audiology.

  • Through planning and goal– setting activities, the manager leads the allied health disciplines team to provide excellence in residential and transitional care supporting Veterans, community patients and palliative care patients and promotes interprofessional collaboration.
  • The successful candidate will have a strategic and collaborative approach to leadership and be skilled at maintaining a high functioning team to drive continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications/Skills

· Registration in good standing with an Ontario Regulated Health Professional College

· Masters Degree preferred

· At least 2 years of previous management experience preferred

· Previous gerontological experience required

· Superior leadership, communication, team building and decision-making skills

· Demonstrated coaching and empowering style of management

· Demonstrated interpersonal skills.

· Excellent technical/computer skills.
