Research Coordinator, Sunnybrook Research Institute

Temporary Full-time, 37.5 Hours per week (Temporary Part-time option negotiable)

The Sunnybrook Research Institute is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and experienced individual to work in a fast-paced clinical research environment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful incumbent will work directly with the Principal Investigator to coordinate clinical trial activities.

Required Qualifications / Skills:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or equivalent (an MSc degree is an asset).
  • Professional accreditation in clinical research (e.g., CCRP, ACRP) is an asset.
  • At least 2+ years clinical trial management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Understanding of project management processes and methodology with respect to quality assurance and risk management is an asset.
  • Sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining documentation for Research Ethics Boards (REBs) and Regulatory Authorities. Computer proficiency including advanced skills with MS Office applications is required.
  • Experience with financial management of research studies is an asset.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Coordinating clinical trial activities to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Preparation and administration of REB and regulatory submissions.
  • Preparation and maintenance of the trial protocol and all trial-related documents,
  • Facilitating research objectives by conducting and participating in analyses.
  • Assisting PI on grant writing and grant administration
