Angina (chest pain)

Sign and Symptoms

  • Partially or completely blocked arteries
  • Reduction of blood flow causes stress or permanent damage to heart's cells
  • chest pain is a warning sign that the heart is stressed from lack of oxygen
  • tight constriction or heaviness in the chest 
  • occasional ache or pain in the jaw or arm
  • heavy breathing
