Our condolences to Gord Downie's family, friends & loved ones
Sunnybrook is saddened with the passing of Gord Downie. On behalf of our 10,000 staff, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Downie family, the Tragically Hip, and fans of the band worldwide.
Gord’s legacy will live on at Sunnybrook through the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research. To date, the fund has raised $1.7 million and has helped advance research into glioblastomas.
