Eligible North Toronto residents can now book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment at Sunnybrook

March 22, 2021

North Toronto residents who are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine can now book an appointment for the first dose of the vaccine at Sunnybrook directly, without pre-registration.

Groups eligible for a vaccine:

  • Residents 75 years of age or older (those born in 1946 or earlier)
  • Indigenous adults
  • Adults who receive home care
  • Health-care workers (a person who works in a health-care setting in any capacity)*

If you are eligible for the vaccine and live* in North Toronto, you can book an appointment at Sunnybrook.

*Health-care workers who live or work in North Toronto may book an appointment at Sunnybrook. All other eligible people should live in North Toronto to receive an appointment at Sunnybrook.

Eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine is determined by the Government of Ontario.

Sometimes the booking site will say “No appointments available.” We are sorry. We know you are eager to have your COVID-19 vaccine and this is frustrating. Our vaccine clinic team reviews the number of appointments each day and opens up more slots based on the vaccine supply we receive. Our supply of vaccine goes up and down, and so some days there are more appointments than others. If you try to book an appointment and there are no times available, please check back again tomorrow, as more times are opened up each day.

There are lots of vaccine clinics now open and booking appointments in Toronto. Check vaccineto.ca for a list of open COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

Thank you for your interest in the COVID-19 vaccine. The response has been overwhelming at times and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
