Sunnybrook’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) cares for some of the sickest and most premature babies in Ontario. Babies sometimes stay at the hospital for months, and premature birth can cause some babies to have lung problems that makes them more vulnerable to respiratory illnesses in childhood.

Above, meet some of our NICU ‘grads’ who recently received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
