Road work on Life Saving Drive

Road work on the portion of Life Saving Dr. from the east side of the Emergency Department to the east side of the Garry Hurvitz Brain Sciences Centre (G-Wing) will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

During this time, this section of Life Saving Dr. will be fully closed to all vehicle traffic. Access to the Emergency Department, the Sunnybrook Centre for Independent Living (U-Wing) and the Odette Cancer Centre (T-Wing) patient drop off area will not be impacted.

Visitors looking to access the Garry Hurvitz Brain Sciences Centre are asked to park on the north side of the hospital or in an alternative parking lot as there will be no street parking permitted on Life Saving Dr. during this road closure. Sidewalks outside G-Wing will remain accessible with crossing guards available to assist visitors.
