The 2018 Stroke report, "Lives disrupted: The impact of stroke on women", finds women are disproportionately affected by stroke throughout their lives and confronted with challenges across the health system. Sunnybrook stroke neurologists, Dr. Rick Swartz and Dr. Amy Yu, along with Dr. Noor Ladhani, maternal-fetal medicine specialist, directly contributed to much of the work in this year's report.
