Meet Kevin Kirnon, Patient Service Partner (PSP)

Affectionately known as "Big Kev", Kevin is a longtime Sunnybrooker who started his journey in our Emergency Department, where he spent the better part of 15 years supporting patients and staff during some of the city’s hardest times, one most importantly being SARS.

He has now taken his talents and care over to K-wing, where he currently works to support our Veterans and palliative patients.

We don’t call him “Big Kev” because of his size or height, we call him Big Kev because of the size of his heart.

He’s been a Sunnybrooker and a frontline worker for over 20 years, working diligently everyday.

He’s also a huge Raptors fan. His own daughter played professionally along with his nephew who still plays currently as well.

Working with the professional team, the Patient Service Partner participates in the caring of patients by providing a variety of support services to the team and patients.
