The event included fire teaching by traditional fire keeper Anthony Gladue, as well as three songs presented by Red Bear Singers, a group of singers and drummers who are residential school and Sixties Scoop survivors and descendants.

Feast for the Ancestors: A Sacred Fire was held this week at Sunnybrook’s Bayview Campus

The space is available for Indigenous community members and families for meeting and ceremony, and for Indigenous care partners who are on site to have a space to work or meet with clients.
