Join our Introduction to Lymphedema class via Zoom. This class is open to all Odette cancer patients that have had surgery to remove cancer and/or lymph nodes, have undergone radiation therapy, or would like to learn more about lymphedema.
This class will give you information about:
- What lymphedema is
- Signs and symptoms of lymphedema
- How to manage lymphedema
These sessions are held every Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. It is free of charge.
Join us for an online Art Therapy group! Learn how to use your creativity to manage stress, connect to your inner strengths, and develop new coping skills.
Each week, we’ll do a creative exercise where no artistic talent or special art supplies are required!
To participate, you will need:
- Simple materials you have at home (including scrap paper, pens/pencils/markers, magazines/old greeting cards for collage, paint...).
- A computer or smart device to join the Zoom meeting.
This group runs on Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. You may join one session or make this part of your weekly self-care!
These sessions are free of charge and open to all patients and caregivers at the Odette Cancer Centre. Registration required for each class.
