Abstract: The Federal government offers over 90 different programs providing funding for business innovation, designed to make it easier for researchers and inventors to achieve their vision and commercialize the results. Add to this the funding programs and contests offered at the provincial level and by non-government agencies, and there is quite a lot of information to comb through in order to match the right funding opportunities with your research and development plans.

Andrea McPhail of RDP Associates will present information covering key government funding opportunities for researchers and entrepreneurs to help them with their innovation activities, with a particular focus on funding to assist with early stage prototyping and new product development. Learn more about what opportunities may be available to give you the boost you need to make your innovative ideas a reality. There will be a brief Q&A after the session.
