Research Summary:

The focus of Dr. Gien’s research is conducting population-based health services research for outcomes in gynecologic malignancies. In particular she is completing a population-based analysis of patterns of care in vulvar carcinoma. She also conducts research in innovative perioperative management in minimally invasive surgery for gynecologic malignancies, and is involved in the development of clinical trials in gynecologic oncology.
