Research Focus:

  • Maternal endothelial function in normal pregnancy and in preeclampsia
  • Developing a placental liquid biopsy based on maternal circulating extracellular vesicles
  • Pro and anti-angiogenic signalling during normal placentation and in preeclamptic/intrauterine growth restriction pregnancies
  • Detection of fetal anomalies by early transvaginal anatomy scan
