Clinical profile
After graduating from immunology at the University of Toronto and graduating from medicine at Queen’s University, Dr. Po completed her obstetrics and gynaecology residency at the University of Toronto. Following residency, she completed the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) fellowship in minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery. Dr. Po also has a master of science in healthcare quality from Queen’s University.
In addition to obstetrical care, her practice focuses on the management of fibroids and endometriosis, as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery. She has been invited to present at national and international meetings on management of fibroids and endometriosis. She is also one of the preceptors for the AAGL fellowship program at Sunnybrook.
Research interests
Dr. Po’s research interest is in quality improvement and patient safety (QIPS). She is currently the gynaecology lead for QIPS at Sunnybrook. She is also actively involved in QIPS at the University of Toronto and nationally for the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.
