Sharona practiced as a registered psychotherapist & registered art therapist for 28 years, specializing in geriatrics, palliation & cancer care. She now works in Organizational Development & Leadership at Sunnybrook, teaching, instructing and facilitating as well as at various academic institutions. She is recognized as a clinical art therapy supervisor, presenter, author, educator, innovator and leader in healthcare and business. She completed a Masters of Business Administration in Innovation Leadership (2016), post-MBA certificate in Social Enterprise and a Doctorate of Leadership in Art Therapy (Aug 2020). She is currently earning a post-MBA certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
