Practical Issues of Cardiac Imaging with PET/CT Workshop

Livingston Lounge, St. Joseph's Health Care London, 268 Grosvenor St., London ON
Friday, June 7, 2002

This workshop consists of a series of more informal presentations related to the specifics of PET myocardial imaging, for the assessment of flow and metabolism, and the animal models that have been used to assess regional myocardial ischemia. The imaging of two dogs to evaluate the PET/CT modality follows the initial presentations. These animals will have either experienced a recent myocardial infarction with reperfusion, or will have ongoing myocardial hibernation, secondary to a severe sub-total left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion.
