This group-based patient education session provides an overview of lymphedema, its signs and symptoms, tips for reducing the risk of developing lymphedema, and strategies for managing the condition.
This event is open to all Odette cancer patients that have had surgery to remove cancer and/or lymph nodes, have undergone radiation therapy, or would like to learn more about lymphedema.

The Schulich Heart Program will be hosting the inaugural Schulich Innovation Research Day on June 4, 2013. This year's theme is "From Idea to Seed Funding."
The morning session will provide discussions on various aspects of the early stages of commercialization, including early development and evaluation of new ideas for health care, intellectual property considerations, prototyping, commercialization avenues and a broad description of some pitfalls to be avoided.
The afternoon session will allow guests to participate in an innovation competition.

This year's Preemie Picnic will be held on Sunday, June 23, from noon until 4 p.m.. We'll have crafts, a bouncy castle, a wonderful band and lots of food. It's a great chance to see old friends and celebrate miracles and milestones together. It's in McLean House Park, just north of the hospital, in the same location as last year's picnic.
