Board of Directors
Blake Goldring is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AGF Management Limited. He was named President in 1997, Chief Executive Officer in 2000 and Chairman in 2006. Under his leadership, AGF has grown to be a premier independent investment management company with operations in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.
Blake Goldring joined the Board of Directors of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in January 2010 and was appointed Vice Chair/Chair Elect in March 2014. On June 15, 2015, Blake was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors. He is also a Member of the Governance & Nominating Committee and the Quality Committee of the Board.
In addition to Sunnybrook, Blake serves on a number of Boards including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Canadian Film Centre and the C.D. Howe Institute, is a Member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and a Leadership Council Member of the Toronto Financial Services Alliance. He is the Past Vice-Chair and Past Director of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) and is presently a member of the IFIC Ad Hoc Strategic Research Committee.
Blake Goldring is the Honorary Colonel for the Canadian Army and is the Founder and Chair of Canada Company: Many Ways To Serve, a charity which supports the men and women who serve in the Canadian Forces and their families.
Blake holds an Honours BA in Economics from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business Administration from INSEAD in France. He is also a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts, a CFA charterholder and a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
