Clinical Profile:

Kathy is a registered nurse with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification. Kathy obtained her IBCLC and worked with International Baby Food Action Network Africa where she gained experience as an assessor and trainer for the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative. Kathy is also an educator for Quintessence Foundation. Quintessence Foundation focuses on breastfeeding education for health professionals and the public through a variety of venues and provides support to programmes to encourage breastfeeding and the use of human milk. Kathy is a trainer for the Breastfeeding Committee for Canada and is also a member of the Ontario Breastfeeding Committee and International Lactation Consultant Association.
