We are thrilled to welcome Sharmila Sriram, a visionary leader and founder of Spectrum Medical Diagnostics, to the Medventions Lecture Series. Drawing on her unique journey, including her experience as a patient that sparked a career dedicated to transforming healthcare, Sharmila will share powerful lessons on cultivating an innovation mindset and embracing entrepreneurial thinking to drive meaningful change in medtech. In this session, Sharmila will explore:

  • How personal experiences can ignite breakthrough ideas.
  • The key mindsets that differentiate successful healthcare innovators, from opportunity recognition to resilience and resourcefulness.
  • Her own path from inspiration to impact as an entrepreneur.

Following her talk, participants will engage in an interactive workshop designed to put these concepts into action. Activities such as the Entrepreneurial Reframing Exercise and Resource Mapping Challenge will encourage participants to think creatively, collaborate, and reimagine healthcare challenges as opportunities for innovation.
