Balance disorders clinic

Our balance disorders clinic sees patients with peripheral vestibular conditions such as Ménière's disease, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular neuritis (labyrinthitis), recurrent vestibulopathy and superior canal dehiscence syndrome. We also offer in-house advanced vestibular and audiometric testing including:

  • Electronystagmography (ENG)
  • Videonystagmography (VNG)
  • Video head thrust testing (v-HIT)
  • Cervical vestibular-evoked myogenic potentials (c-VEMP)
  • Electrocochleography (ECoG)
  • Auditory evoked brainstem response (ABR)
  • Otoacoustic emissions (OAE)

The testing is administered by a team of highly experienced vestibular technicians and audiologists and interpreted by our otologists/neurotologists to ensure accuracy and reliability.
