Admission criteria

Students at Fresh Start must be eligible for enrolment in a secondary school and must have a primary diagnosis of a mood, anxiety or psychotic disorder.

We are unable to admit students with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse, behavioural disorders or eating disorders.

Admission is continuous (that is, new students will be admitted as spaces become available) and time-limited: students interested in the program are expected to commit to 8-12 weeks of enrolment.

Students cannot be enrolled simultaneously in Fresh Start and another school program. Students enrolling in Fresh Start will be demitted from their previous school.
