Meet Sunnybrook’s Veteran Heroes

In the past, they were fighting for our freedom. In the present, we continue to honour and remember their sacrifices.
Throughout time, they’ve always been — and always will be — our heroes.

Edwin “Ed” Marshall, 100 years old. Served in the Air Force & Army, WWII.


Mary Bell, 100 years old. Served in the Navy, WWII.


Alexander “Al” Bott, 85 years old. Served in the Navy, Peacekeeping.


Howard Clark, 93 years old. Served in the Army, Korean War and Peacekeeping.


Peter Davis, 97 years old. Served in the Army, WWII.


Norman “Norm” Goodspeed, 97 years old. Served in the Navy, WWII.


Kyuong Lee, 91 years old. Served in the Air Force, Korean War.


Joyce Minister, 102 years old. Served in the Army, WWII.
