What is the Centre for Injury Prevention?

The Centre for Injury Prevention was established in 1986 within Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre's Tory Trauma Program. We provide community, provincial, national and international leadership in injury prevention, delivering programs and resources independently as well as with an extensive team of collaborators.

An active and healthy life, free of traumatic injury.

Reducing intentional and unintentional serious and fatal injuries through collaboration, advocacy, research and education.

Excellence, collaboration, accountability, respect, engagement and equity.
