Diabetes in pregnancy clinic

About the clinic

We care for women who are pregnant and have either gestational diabetes or pre-existing diabetes mellitus (DM). Women will be followed by a registered dietitian, diabetes nurse educator and endocrinologist (a diabetes doctor) for the duration of the pregnancy. We see women planning to deliver their babies at Sunnybrook. For women that are diagnosed with gestational diabetes (GDM) they will attend a group information class on how to manage GDM in pregnancy.
