Pre-Admission

Your caregiver will ask you to fill out a pre-admission form for the Admitting Department. If you have not received it, please ask your physician’s clerical staff. The pre-admission information lets the hospital register you as a patient before you arrive in labour.

You can complete your pre-admission form at your next doctor’s visit. Just ask the clinic staff for a form. We will be able to attach this information to your file.

Room accommodations

You will be asked whether you prefer a three-bed, semi-private or private room for your postpartum stay. This does not mean that you have reserved a room to stay in after you have delivered. We will make every effort to meet your request. Semi-private and private rooms are available first for medical need, if you do not have extended health insurance, there will be an extra charge.
