Resource Centre on M5

Looking for more information about pregnancy, birth, babies and beyond? Visit our resource centre!

The CRIB, located in M5-102 at Sunnybrook's Bayview Campus, is here to help you find answers to your pregnancy, birth and baby questions. We have a selection of books for visitors to borrow, educational pamphlets, and computers for visitors to use for research.

Drop in visitors are welcome between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday to Friday.

We are staffed by education specialists who have backgrounds in prenatal education. They provide formal teaching sessions, individualized informal learning opportunities, and a link to current knowledge and resources. Our staff also run regular tours of the Birthing and Maternal Newborn Unit, and can give you helpful tips about resources in your community and links to health care providers.

Topics commonly asked about include when to come to the hospital, what to bring, information and booking of prenatal education, breast feeding, postpartum depression, twins and more. We have brochures on car seat safety, DVDs and computers at your disposal.
