Our ambulatory programs include clinics in general respirology, thromboembolic disorders, lung cancer diagnosis and management, pleural effusion managment, neuro-muscular respiratory insufficiency, and sleep.

We offer on site bronchoscopic investigation including fluoroscopic guided biopsy and transbronchial needle aspiration. We perform ultrasound guided diagnostic and therapeutic thoracentesis and placements of tunnel pleural catheters. We collaborate with inverventional radiology and thoracic surgery.

A hospital-based pulmonary function lab is available which performs all lung function testing including methacholine challenge, exercise and nocternal oximetry.

Our inpatient consultation team is available 24/7 to see patients in all clinical areas of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
