Research Centres at Sunnybrook

The Practice-Based Research initiative (PBR) continually improves the care & treatment we provide to our patients. It includes a broad continuum of research activity from confirming clinical eligibility, to conducting literature reviews, program evaluation and translation of best practices across all health professions.

The Institute for Clinical and Evaluative Sciences (ICES), established by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MoHLTC) is a research institute focusing on the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of medical care for Ontarians.
