Vascular Access Team
The Vascular Access Team at Sunnybrook provides care and management for peripheral and central venous access to patients at Sunnybrook.
These specialized Registered Nurses work as a team to support Inpatient Wards, Outpatient Clinics, the Veterans Centre, and the Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) Program.
The Vascular Access Team specializes in the care of:
- Peripheral venous access
- Central lines (ports, Hickmann’s, PICCs)
- Staff education and training
