- We work closely with the thoracic surgeons at Toronto East General Hospital and North York General Hospital to offer patients upper endoscopy for the diagnosis and surveillance of patients with esophageal cancer
- We also refer patients to community partners for upper endoscopy

Treatment options
- We offer multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and management of esophageal cancer
- We offer neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy (CROSS protocol) with weekly carboplatin and taxol with radiation prior to surgery
- Our thoracic surgeons are nationally known for their expertise in the surgical management of esophageal and gastroesophageal junction tumors
- We offer chemotherapy in the neoadjuvant, adjuvant and palliative settings
- We offer international and national clinical trials
- Our clinical nutritionists and speech pathologists provide expertise in managing swallowing issues and weight loss for this unique population of patients
